素食對生活的啟示

謝謝好友的誠意邀請，讓我能品賞溫哥華的素食美點之餘，也再次猶記得兩年前，荷蘭的自然科學基金會，製作了一部關於氣候變遷的紀錄片，名為《面對肉類的真相》（Meat the Truth）。此影片分享了很多對吃素的觀點，而重要的是，它提出了相關的佐證資料，也引用了聯合國糧農組織（FAO）所提出的科學證據，揭露了畜牧業和酪農業對全球暖化的所造成的巨大影響，更甚於全世界所有交通工具排放的溫室氣體所帶來的嚴重牲。



可參考 Meat the Truth 的網站，下面是另外兩套有關《肉食的真相》和《来自2070年的一封信》的影片，不是要大家爭論應否吃肉，而是只有我們心態的改變，人類的署光才會展現。

Tell Me Why 面對人性的醜陋

在任何國家的執法機構，警察使用武力對付疑犯，已是司空慣例。但號稱具有高度文化水平的卑斯省，警察在公眾場所使用不恰當的暴力，卻顯現日趨嚴重。而生活於此的市民，又是否有責任去面對此問題.....



以上是維多利亞市的警察，涉嫌過度用武力踢打地上兩名男子的片段。如果沒有被現場民眾用相機攝錄下來，我們又是否能視而不見，也可能只有英國年僅8歲的Declan Galbraith更懂得人性的醜陋喔！

Rick Warren 分亨活出生命的目的

重置 iPod Nano 的密碼

好朋友來電談及不小心忘記了iPod Nano的密碼，也是很多朋友遇上的問題。以下是重置iPod密碼(Reset Password)的步驟:

1。首先嘗試使用“0000”作為密碼(系統原先內定的密碼)。若不成功，再進行下一步。
2。將 iPod 連接到電腦。如果iTunes不自動啟動，便手啟動它。
3。選擇您的 iPod 在“Devices”列表，按“Restore"(還原)。
注：所有iPod內的數據和設置將會被刪除。
4。移除你的 iPod，再打開主菜單，從 Extra menu 內，選擇“Screen Lock”。
5。為 iPod 選擇一個新的組合。
6。使用 iTunes 再次為 iPod 下載音樂和Movies等。

台灣動畫 -- "鋼彈之笑傲江湖"

蘋果正式公布平板電腦 iPad

你準備了人生最後的一堂課嗎??

從好友的來電，得悉大學的同窗同學罹患癌症，傷感之餘也期盼能相互分享短暫的生命。此刻，筆者憶起美國卡內基美隆大學資訊系的教授 Randy Pausch，他設計了「創造虛擬世界」的課程，更是位極受學生歡迎的好老師，不幸在06年時才46歲的他，卻罹患了胰臟癌而要進行手術治療。在07年9月的時侯，據醫生的估計，他的人生最多只剩下五個月的時間，他卻選擇了來一場「人生最後的一堂課」的演講，分享他兒時的夢想和一生所學到的教訓及經驗.....
